In case you were a little distracted this weekend by another big event taking place in the New York area, check this out. The first Jordan Brand store, Flight 23, opened it's doors in New York on Saturday and ComplexTV was on the scene to check it out.

In place of a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Jordan Brand President Larry Miller and Academy Award-nominated director Spike Lee were on hand to untie a giant pair of shoelaces, signaling the flagship store's official grand opening. For those who wondering, the first pair of shoes ever purchased at a Jordan Store ended up being the Bel-Air 5s, which were brought back specially for the store's grand opening.

Stay tuned for the latest on Flight 23 and the Jordan Brand.
