Just in time for the Boston Marathon, today marks the official grand reopening of the Nike Boston flagship store. Formerly known as Niketown Boston, the totally revamped two-story 30,000-square-foot store is located at 200 Newbury Street in Beantown.

"Boston is an important part of our heritage as a Brand and we have been a proud partner of the local community for more than 47 years,” said Dennis van Oossanen, Vice President of Nike North America Direct to Consumer.

The store will carry Nike Running, Women’s Training, Basketball, Football, Soccer and Sportswear product, with footwear, apparel and equipment for men, women and children. In addition to Nike merchandise, the store will also offer a "comprehensive array of services," such as run analysis, head-to-toe styling, bra-fitting, pant-hemming, and special programming such as weekly Nike+Run Club.

The store contains a few elements to make your shopping experience feel uniquely Boston. Hanging in the atrium are design cues commemorating the city's 37 professional sports championships. Reading "Just Do It," a mural the actual size of Fenway Park's famed Green Monster sits in the atrium, as well.

“With the reopening of Nike Boston we look forward to deepening our connection with Boston’s rich running and sports culture, and we aim to inspire and serve athletes of all levels," van Oossanen added.
