LSU fans went home happy last night as the Tigers rallied to a 87-82 win over the No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats. The SEC upset is sure to cause a shift in next week's Top 25 rankings, and the Tigers have Johnny O'Bryant III to thank for their W. The surefire NBA standout dropped 29 points and 9 rebounds as LSU shut down James Young and Kentucky.

In the Big East, No. 20 Creighton squeezed by St. John's 63-60. Doug McDermott of the Bluejays led the way, scoring 39 of Creighton's 63 points as they advanced to 8-1 in their conference.

Two of the Big Ten's top teams squared off from Iowa City, with No. 7 Michigan State taking No. 15 Iowa into overtime. Be sure to hit the slides above for a recap of the game's top performer.

On the pro hardwood, big man Anthony Davis continued to impress, leading the night in scoring with 30 points and racking up 8 blocks and 7 boards along the way. From Madison Square Garden, Melo continued to put up big numbers, still feeling the momentum from last week's 62 point game. Check back with The Shoes That Won Last Night tomorrow for a rundown of tonight's Oklahoma Thunder-Miami Heat showdown.

All this, plus Barclays Premier League action and more after the jump.
