As you prepare for a Sunday full of NFL action, look back on yesterday's top performers. Saturday's games featured some of college football's most heated rivalries, including No. 7 Miami facing No. 3 Florida State and No. 21 Michigan taking on No. 22 Michigan State. Both Miami and FSU headed into last night's game undefeated, but the Seminoles came out on top with a decisive 41-14 win. From Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan, the Spartans dealt the Wolverines their second loss of the season and will undoubtedly be moving up in next week's rankings. There were many other notable games yesterday, so continue on for the top players.
As week one of the NBA regular season rolls on, some of the league's youngest players are stepping up in a big way. The night's top performers were second-year center Anthony Davis, rookie Michael Carter-Williams, and third-year import Chandler Parsons. Carter-Williams was especially impressive, showing up Derrick Rose and the Bulls just nights after his historic professional debut.
In the Barclays Premier League, Manchester City absolutely dominated Norwich City, picking up a 7-0 win with nearly half of their lineup scoring.
