No. 10 - LSU

Date Released: October 17

Amongst the plethora of college-themed Lunar TR1 colorways, the White/Purple/Yellow LSU edition stands out above the majority. If the Tigers continue to dominate on the gridiron, we just may see these kicks make an appearance on the sideline at the BCS National Championship in January.

3.

No. 9 - Victor Cruz

Date Released: Player Exclusive

New York Giants' star receiver Victor Cruz is well past his college days, however his special edition Black/Red/Yellow TR1 pays homage to his days at UMass.

4.

No. 8 - Oregon "Green"

Date Released: August 22

It seems like no Nike list is complete without a mention of the Oregon Ducks. Of the three Oregon-inspired colorways available in the TR1, the initial Green/Yellow release represents the program's identity the best.

5.

No. 7 - LeBron James "Red"

Date Released: Player Exclusive

Aside from his own signature Nike like, LeBron has been the inspiration behind a variety of footwear, including the Red/Black TR1. We wonder if he'd fare on the hardwood with these on.

6.

No. 6 - Rafael Nadal

Date Released: Player Exclusive

To match his electric style of play, Nike decided to give Rafa a Silver/Neon Green TR1 earlier this summer. The sneaker is stamped with Nadal's branded logo.

7.

No. 5 - "Fuel"

Date Released: Exclusive

The TR1 "Fuel" colorways wasn't based on any particular athlete, however the black upper housed on the Nike Fuel-inspired sole makes for one of the most appealing options for the sneaker.

8.

No. 4 - Bo Bikes Bama "Silver/Yellow"

Date Released: Auction Only

On Tuesday, April 24th sports legend Bo Jackson biked 300 miles through the tornado ravaged communities of Alabama to raise $1 million for the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund. To celebrate Jackson's effort, Nike auctioned off a series of special edition Lunar TR1s, including the Silver/Yellow model seen above.

9.

No. 3 - Manny Pacquiao

Date Released: August 24

Behind the HyperKO Speed Trainer, this TR1 was the second shoe released by Nike for boxing great Manny Pacquiao. On the outside, the sneaker is covered in a Royal Blue paint job, with a gradient sole for contrast. On the inside, the shoe features original artwork depicting Manny.

10.

No. 2 - Tim Tebow

Date Released: September 29

Arguably the best thing to come out of the Time Tebow trade to the New York Jets is the Lunar TR1 Tim Tebow "Players Club" sneaker. The kicks feature Tebow’s jersey number in roman numerals on the tongue, and a special dagger logo appears on the heel.

11.

No. 1 - Barry Sanders

Date Released: TBD

Nike joined forces with EA Sports to celebrate the drop of NCAA Football '13 by releasing a special-edition TR1 inspired by Barry Sanders and his time as an Oklahoma State Cowboy. It's a shame Barry didn't have these while he was still playing.
