The University of Illinois football team debuted a new matte blue helmet at their game against Penn State this past weekend. While the new look didn't quite help the team to a victory, the new helmet is definitely a winner. In line with the Fighting Illini color scheme, the helmet features a fairly traditional "I" on the sides, along with a logo of the state of Illionis on the rear. The squad will take the field against Wisconsin next.
