adidas Basketball had decided to pay homage to the basketball meccas of New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles with the release of the “Bright Light – Big City” pack featuring the adiZero Crazy Light 2 and the throwback Equipment Top Ten 2000 in special team-specific colorways (we’re confident you can figure out which colorway belong to which city on your own).
The special edition pack bridges the gap between the style of basketball sneakers from the 90s to the ones of modern day, showing just how on-court kicks have evolved over the years. The extended herringbone outsole and the bulky, wave shaped EVA design of the Equipment Top ten 2000 is quite the contrast from the Crazy Light 2, which happens to be the lightest basketball shoe around at 9.5 ounces and features the latest performance technology adidas has to offer.
The “Bright Lights – Big City” pack will be available beginning December 12th, 2012 at adidas.
