The adidas by Stella McCartney line continues to offer the women with the perfect blend of cutting-edge design with innovative performance on the tennis court. After unveiling an exclusive all-white version of the Barricade ahead of Wimbledon earlier in the summer, adidas introduces two new colorways of the shoe for the upcoming US Open.
The ladies-specific shoe is designed to handle extreme lateral movements and provide solid foot support, particularly on hard court surfaces. Much like the Wimbledon version, the latest adidas by Stella McCartney Barricades are expected to be worn by Top-10 player Caroline Wozniaki—who will lace up in the Collegiate Navy colorway of the shoe. Fellow adidas athletes Mariak Kirilenko and Laura Robson hit the court in a vibrant Warning Orange colorway.
