adidas Debuts 2014 NBA On-Court Collection

After one of the most tremendous seasons in NBA history, where rookies like Damian Lillard dominated with his play in Portland, rising stars like John Wall revitalized his career in Washington, D.C., and All-Star veterans such as Dwight Howard returned to the court, despite a debilitating back injury while briefly in California, the NBA is coming back.

Among those returning is Derrick Rose, who missed the entire 2012-2013 season with a knee injury, as he and fellow members of adidas Basketball are coming back style with the NBA On-Court Collection.

Made of game day apparel that the actual players are to wear, the NBA On-Court Collection includes the On-Court Warm-Up Jacket and Pant, the Varsity Warm-Up Jacket, the Long-Sleeve Shooting Shirt, and Short-Sleeve Shooting Shirt – all worn before, during, and exiting games.

They’re pretty spiffy, too. Using a neutral heather grey on items like the Varsity Warm-Up Jacket gives a collegiate feel, and also makes for team colors to really pop and show well on the chest and back. The On-Court Warm-Up Jacket and Pants are really slick, too; the team name is stitched on a nameplate on the chest over the heart and gives the players a slight military look (think “single file” and “in line”).
