The Yohji Yamamoto adizero F50 cleat is an example of high-performing footwear turned high art, and will be worn worldwide this weekend by players in countries like Germany, France, Italy, and Japan to American cities like Los Angeles and New York.
Explained Yamamoto about his touch on the adizero F50, a visual mix of lion-dogs and Japanese sci-fi:
"My inspiration is a mixture of ancient traditions and modern sci-fi from Japanese culture. I hope the inspiration of the boot harmonizes the players and gives them extra confidence to express themselves without any fear. People should feel free to express themselves.
