Dwight Howard hasn’t quite lived up the expectations of Lakers fans, but perhaps maybe his latest sneaker from adidas will turn things around for the big man.
Inspired by the Dwight’s power and dominating style of play in the paint, the D Howard Lights are designed to make the three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year even faster and more explosive (and will hopefully help him hit a couple of free throws to). Despite a lighter frame, the sneakers supposed have even more support and comfort than Howard’s previous signature model. On the tongue you’ll notice a brand new reflective “DH” logo meant to represent the big guy’s self-proclaimed Superman persona. As far as performance specs go, the D Howard Light features a Z-Torsion midsole, which offers flexibility and support during intense gameday situations.
Expect to see the sneakers on Howard’s feet after the NBA All-Star break.
