By now, we’re all familiar with the adidas Energy Boost running shoe that promises to offer more energy return to runners than ever before. But now, there’s another Boost-boasting running shoe on the market, the adiStar Boost.
As previewed back in April, the adiStar Boost is a new wave of running footwear from the Three Stripes that replaces the long-standing adiPrene midsole technology with the more efficient Boost midsole for optimal performance. Release date for the latest Boost-ready runner was originally scheduled for August, but it looks like adidas has pushed it up a few weeks so runners can experience the innovation even faster. Aside from the Boost midsole, which offers maximum energy rebound in a lightweight package, the adiZero Boost is packed with a bevy of performance features, including a TechFit upper for a sock-like fit, and an extended Torsion System for forefoot and midfoot integrity. The shoe also comes with Foremotion technology for a smooth, comfortable ride, along with a durable adiWear outsole with a Continental Rubber outsole for sound grip, regardless of weather conditions.
