Just four years after it launched back in 2009, adidas has announced that it will put a halt to its high-end sportswear sub brand SLVR effective starting next year. The current Fall/Winter 2013-14 SLVR collection will be the last run of the fashion forward line.
It’s not all bad news for Three Stripes fans, as the brand has stated that the SLVR line will be replaced with a new line dubbed Sport Style, which apparently will only be available to adidas family and friends.
Here’s what adidas had to say in regards to its latest move: “From spring 2014, Adidas will introduce a new approach to sophisticated sportswear within the Sport Style sub-brand, which will exclusively be available for friends and partners of the Adidas family.”
