adidas Unveils the Predator Horizon Goalkeeper Gloves

With World Cup qualification in full swing, and soccer at a heightened sense of popularity across the globe, today we take a look at the newest addition to adidas’ collection of goalie gloves, the Predator Horizon.

Part of the Predator family, the Predator Horizon Goalkeeper Gloves are built to come through in the clutch. They feature a negative cut, meaning the palm is made from a single piece of latex as opposed to multiple pieces stitched together. This type of glove style offers a more snug fit, and also allows for better feel of the ball when catching and throwing—no wonder it’s become the popular choice amongst some of the most elite goalkeepers in the world.

The gloves are loaded with Nova-Foam material for reliable grip on the ball, as well as cushioning against impact. On the backside, an SL rubber construction allows for greater punch power for clearing the ball. Lastly, an adjustable strap allows for a custom fit without irritating the wrist.

As of now, the Predator Horizon gloves aren’t available directly from adidas (at least not in the U.S. market). They can, however, be found at specialty retailers such as Pro-Direct Soccer.
