Just because the current tennis season is winding down doesn’t mean you have to stop making that daily trek to the courts. In fact, adidas is giving tennis players a pretty damn good reason to step up to the service line with the release of a special “Shanghai” version of the adiPower Barricade 8.
As expected, the Barricade 8 Shanghai has all the same technical features as the standard version of the shoe (things like Adiprene+ in the forefoot for propulsion and Torsion System for midfoot integrity), except with a flashy red and black silhouette inspired by Chinese colors. The Shanghai Barricade also features some gold accents for a personal touch, including a “S” on the tongue, as well on the heel counter.
