With the expo for the 2013 ING New York City Marathon well underway in the Big Apple, adidas takes this opportune time to announce the launch of its latest running shoe to feature the high energy rebound Boost technology, the Supernova Glide Boost.
Just like the Energy Boost, adiStar Boost and adios Boost before it, the Supernova Glide Boost is loaded with a Boost midsole, which provides exceptional support and basically redefines the term “energy return.” What the Supernova has that the others don’t, however, is a refined upper that fit better and has more structure to it.
For the initial run of the shoe, adidas has rolled out two men’s colorways (Solar Slime/Tech Grey Metallic/Running White and Black/Black/Running White), and two colorways for women (Glow Purple/Metallic Silver/Tech Grey and Black/Black/Running White). Of course the Three Stripes will likely roll out other color options down the road.
The Supernova Glide Boost will be available for purchase starting November 3. If you happen to be in the tri-state are this weekend, make sure to stop by the Javits Center in NYC to catch a sneak peek of the shoe before it drops.
