As he’s done throughout this past season, Jake Blauvelt will continue to rock adidas Snowboarding gear, but this time around, the pro boarder will get his very own signature boot from the Three Stripes, dubbed the adidas Blauvelt Snowboard Boot.

Drawing inspiration from the unlikeliest of places—the adidas F50 and Predator soccer cleats—the Blauvelt Boot is a top-of-the-line model loaded with a bevy of performance features including a Continental rubber outsole, Recco Avalanch Rescue Technology, and an adiPrene footbed for impact protection. Internally, the boot is lined with an antimicrobial merino wool layer for just the right amount of warmth, as well as a liner made from recycled coffee grounds to neutralize odor.  Additional features on the boot include an Active Heel Harness for a comfortable, locked-in fit, as well as adiHold transitional scaled laces for a custom fit.

An official release date for the Blauvelt Boot is yet to be determined, though we’re expecting it to hit retail shelves sometime in October 2013.
