It’s not easy being one of the deadliest strikers in the world—despite how easy Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero makes it look. Anyone who follows the Premier League, or has dabbled in FIFA for that matter, knows exactly what we’re talking about.

Well, it looks the world-class soccer player will get an extra boost of speed to close out the 2012/13 season. Starting March 1, Aguero, along with fellow Puma athletes Ibrahim Afellay and Steven Pienaar, will hit the pitch in those new evoSPEED 1 FG cleats we shared with you a while back.

"As a striker, I need to be able to move quickly, and the evoSPEED really enables me to do so,” said Aguero. “I am able to change direction more promptly because of the lightness and flexible sole.”

The evoSPEED 1 FG features a seamless, single-layer upper designed to increase speed and ball control. The boot’s clean, no-nonsense design ditches the unnecessary bells and whistles seen in other cleat offerings, focusing instead on pure performance.
