The latest addition to the Jordan IX family continues to sport global appeal.
Since the early 90s the Air Jordan IX has been remade over and over, representing their universal draw. Remember when everyone wanted to be "Like Mike."? Their simple design was crafted when Jordan was spending time in Asia promoting Nike, drawing from Japanese design. Jordan was a global name, and the shoe has an emblem on the back to back that idea up. Each shoe has words in different languages that embody Jordan, "force" (Spanish), "intense" (Italian), "hope" (Swahili), etc.
Since it's beginnings this design has seen many colorways, the latest being a classic royal blue and gold. Keeping with the simple two-tone color scheme, the only contrast is white stitching. Not only is there the emblem devoted to adjectives for the global super-star, but also one that reads "Calvin Bailey" across the woven tongue. A reinvention of an old classic, which is exactly what you hope this does for your game. The "Calvin Bailey" is expected to hit shelves November 10th.
