If there one thing we've learned from the 2012 college football season is that the new era of uniforms has dawned upon us. This year, brands like Nike, adidas, and Under Armour have gone all out in designing football uniforms that look sleek and feature some innovative technologies for optimal on-field performance. With all of the unique kits that we've seen this past year, perhaps the best ones are being saved for the final game of the season, the BCS National Championship showdown between Alabama and Notre Dame.

When Alabama takes the field on Monday night, the team will do so in Nike Pro Combat Hypercool uniforms that feature a Chain Maille Mesh ventilation system for improved thermoregolation. The upgraded uniforms are designed for optimal speed and comfort thanks to a streamlined fit and heat-regulating materials. The uniforms also have built-in pads for impact protection. To complete the look, 'Bama will debut the new Nike Vapor Fly Gloves featuring next-generation Magnigrip material for sure-handed grip.
