Following the recent release of the high profile Anatomix Spawn, Under Armour continues to expand its basketball footwear collection ahead of the upcoming basketball season with the launch of the all-new UA Spine Predator.

The UA Spine Predator, which features a clean, straight forward design, may not be the most visually appealing basketball shoe on the market, but when it comes to performance, it has all the makings of an everyday workhorse.

The shoe’s most notable feature of the Predator is the lightweight and flexible Spine chassis—a feature that UA continues to impalement time and time again in its performance footwear. Another familiar sight is the plush Micro G foam midsole, which provides cushioning and helps with energy rebound.

Up top, the Spine Predator features a unique 3-tiered upper construction designed to offer the best in support, comfort, and ventilation. The shoe has an extended collar of increased ankle protection, and comes with a TPU heel counter for additional stability on the hardwood. To round it out, Under Armour has given the shoe a herringbone traction pattern on the outsole for proper grip during crunch time.

For now, there are only three initial colorways of the Spine Predator available: Red, White, or Black. Though, UA is expected to roll out a lot more color options as the season progresses.

$110
