The Gel Kayano is one of the premier running silhouettes for Asics over the years, as it offers a sleek design and super comfortable sole. Although Asics continues to roll out new upgrades to the Gel Kayano line, this time around they went back to their roots to bring back the original model and update it with some flashy modern aesthetics.
Glow in the dark has grown in popularity over the years (thanks Yeezy), and just about every brand is rolling out a sneaker enabled for the nighttime. Most recently we saw Under Armour bring a fully glow in the dark scheme to the Anatomix Spawn, and now Asics jumps on the bandwagon. The Gel Kayano "Glow in the Dark" comes in a series of blue tones through the upper and is offset with white detailing, and a glow in the dark heel counter. This isn't the only sneaker Asics has scheduled to light up this fall as it's part of a larger "Glow in the Dark" pack consisting of the Gel Lyte 3, Gel Saga, Gel Spotlyte and GT Quick.
