Initially unveiled by Rafael Nadal and other top players at this past year’s French Open, Babolat’s innovative “Play & Connect” racket has had tennis fans across the globe excited all year as we eagerly anticipate the release of the high-tech “racket of the future.”
Babolat, the oldest tennis company in the world, has made many great contributions to the game of tennis over the years, but this new “Play & Connect” technology, which allows players to improve their game via tiny sensors placed in the handle of the racket that allow technical data to be collected and analyzed, promises to be a true game changer.
Similar to the Nike+ technology we’re oh so familiar with, the Babolat “Play & Connect” works to track your progress and share it with you through an interactive software that can be shared with a global community. If all things go as planned, Babolat hopes to launch its latest development sometime in 2013.
