Every season there seem to be one or two basketball shoes that tend to fly somewhat under the radar largely due to the fact that they’re not associated with any big-name pros. This year, one of those models looks to be the Micro G Charge Volt Low from Under Armour.

Featuring a slimmer athletic cut designed for better mobility, the Micro G Charge Volt Low is a versatile shoe that comes loaded with a bevy of familiar UA technology. It features a full-length Micro G foam midsole that is lightweight, yet offers ample shock absorption and bounce to keep players on top of their game. The shoe has a large midfoot TPU shank to prevent the foot from twisting and rolling so you’ll stay in the game longer.

The Charge Volt Low is integrated with UA’s proprietary HeatGear materials for breathable and sweat wicking properties to keep the feet cool and dry when the competition heats up. In addition, perforated synthetic overlays offer lightweight support and stability where you need it the most without weighing you down with unnecessary bulk of extra fabric. As for the outsole, the Volt Low features a clear rubber unit that is cored out to be lighter without sacrificing durability. Its strategically placed traction pods provide exceptional grip on the hardwood, making it an ideal shoe for players know for their quick cuts and lateral movements.
