All year long Ewing Athletics has been teasing us with images of the Ewing 33 Hi basketball sneakers. Finally, after a long wait, the brand has announced the release date (August 31) for the retro kicks.
The Ewing 33 Hi's are a nod to old school basketball. The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe features a reversible ankle strap that can be worn across the front or the back. Built to withstand Patrick Ewing's aggressive style of play on the court, the Ewing 33's were made for extreme comfort and support. While the bulkiness of the sneakers may fool you at first, they actually have a snug fit that wraps around the entirety of your foot to hold it firmly in place. Think you can ball like Ewing, well then head over to Manhattan's KITH in a couple of weeks to pick up a pair of the 33 Hi's.
