Bolt is back. The six-time Olympic gold medalist and eight-time World Champion will compete this Friday in the final IAAF Diamond League event of 2013 set in Brussles at the Belgacom Memorial Van Damme. Naturally, Bolt has chosen to run the 100 meter at this event. This decision places means that he will renew his rivalry against the American sprinter, Justin Gatlin.

The seasoned Bolt and Gatlin will meet for their fourth time this year. The tally is currently at 2-1 in favor of Bolt. The more recent event was last week in Zurich where Bolt defeated Gatlin in a close win, 9.90 to 9.96. It will be interesting to see if the American can take back a win to even the series and heighten the rivalry for the 2014 season.

Bolt is the master of speed. He has taken the world by storm in the Puma evoSpeed Runner, a breathable, sturdy light weight sprint spike. It keeps Bolt’s foot in place with great lockdown and allows him to reach his top speeds, decimating the competition.

Their final race of the year will take place on Friday, 11:58am EST at the Belgacom Memorial Van Damme. Stay tuned to Sneaker Report for more action from the IAAF Diamond League Championships.
