Team Sweden
Sweden went old school for 2014 going back to the traditional yellow and blue color scheme and the Tre Kroner (Three Crowns) logo, the national emblem of Sweden. Olympic rings on the sleeve are a nice touch but the lack of sleeve stripes or sleeve numbers left much to be desired.
1.
Team Switzerland
The Swiss team took the conservative approach for Sochi. Sticking to traditional red and white, the Swiss took minimal risks designing a jersey based on the country flag. Ventilation holes across the chest disguised as Swiss crosses are a nice detail that can easily be overlooked.
2.
Team Latvia
Latvia didn't stray too far from it's 2010 Vancouver jerseys and that's not a bad thing. Keeping the maroon and white color scheme, with the county name below the crest gives Latvia a unique look. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
3.
Team Slovenia
Quite possibly the most unique jerseys in the games, Slovenia is still trying to make neon green work. The mountain like design along the bottom and stars below the the country name are much appreciated details but that neon green sticks out like a sore thumb.

Team Norway
Norway went against the grain here by not featuring a flag pattern or national crest. The jersey has a simple retro feel that is different from all other jerseys we've seen. Should of got some fashion advice from the curling team, which as we've seen, are always on a whole other wavelength.
Team Austria
Austria kept it classy and went with the national crest. White accent's along the neck and sleeves bring the jersey together, but the choice to blend in the Austria name under the crest was a bold choice.
Team Czech Republic
The Czech pulled off the flag pattern seamlessly and incorporated the country crest on both uniforms. We've seen the Czech hit the ice in the traditional white uniform so far, but maybe they're saving the color block jersey for later rounds.
Team Slovakia
Nike brought the heat for Slovakia....weird to say that, but they did. Incorporating national colors for a home and away jersey, Nike threw in some one of a kind touches for Slovakia. The best addition here is the stripes across the jersey spell out the lyrics to the Slovakian national anthem.
4.
Team Finland
Finland went bold with this eye catching jersey. Both jerseys feature the national white and blue colors and stick to the flag theme. The away jersey is the standout here with the nations crest, dark blue accent's, and Finnish flag on the sleeve.
Team Russia
As expected, the host nation went all out with their uniform kit. The detail in the white uniform is unrivaled with wings on the shoulder and a silhouette of the eagles head representative of the national crest. The red jersey pops as well with gold accents in the logo and country name. We've heard about the millions of problems at the games this year, but these may cover some of that up.
Team Canada
Nike gave the 2010 gold medalist's all star treatment for 2014. With three uniforms to choose from, the Canadian kit has features all of Nike's latest technologies from Flywire to specialized ventilation zones. Style and functionality make the Canadians an early favorite to repeat in Sochi.
Team USA
Nike's uniform kit for the U.S team are stylish as they are innovative. Featuring specialized fabrics to maximize range of motion and eliminate unnecessary weight. Two jerseys featuring the USA Hockey crest and pays homage to the gold medal winning teams from 1960 and 1980. Watch tomorrow, February 15, as the US face off against host nation Russia.
