The US national team's winning streak has been extended to 11 straight thanks to a 1-0 win in the Gold Cup final over Panama. Thanks to some incredible defense and a late goal by Brek Shea, the US picked up their fifth Gold Cup championship. Throughout the match, Panama wasn't able to get a single shot off on goal, while Shea was able to score on a miraculous play in the 68th minute of action, just seconds after entering the game.
Teammate Landon Donovan summed up Shea's game-winner after the match: "Alejandro cut into his left foot, and kind of like we've been doing all tournament, when someone lines up to hit a cross, you want to put yourself in a good spot. I think it deflected off their defender, rolled in front of me. I took a mighty swing at it and missed, but it was enough to throw the goalie off and it was a tap-in for Brek."
Shea laced up in the adidas F50 adizero TRX FG. This lightweight model features a SprintFrame chassis for support and Traxion 2.0 stud configuration for plenty of traction on firm ground surfaces. Pick them up and play like a champion for $210.
