A good competitor is light on their feet and bold in their intentions. So Brooks Running created the Mach 15 cross country spike.
The latest version of the Brooks Mach series features a series of improvements, both aesthetically and in terms of performance. For starters, Brooks has done away with the dull screen print design on the previous model with a new smoke print atop a bright green base color for smoldering good looks. The spike features a super lightweight mesh upper construction for breathability and comfort. Under the hood, the Mach 15 features a slightly reduced frame for even more speed, yet offers more in the way of comfort thanks to a high energy return midsole. One aspect of the shoe that remains virtually untouched is the outsole. With this shoe though, that’s a good thing, since the Mach series has a proven record of offering excellent traction to help runners finish strong towards that finish line. It features a 6-spike stud configuration in the forefoot, along with a flexible traction pattern throughout the bottom of the outsole for secure footing.
