Talk about a nail-biter. Last night, the New York Liberty overcame a 16-point deficit against the Indiana Fever to close the evening with a 77-72 road win. The two teams previously met a little over a week ago, when the roles were reversed and Indiana scored a win in New York. The Liberty weren't going to let that happen again, as veteran guard Cappie Pondexter led the way with 24 points, four rebounds, four assists, and near-perfect three-point shooting, going 3-4 from the arc.

"She's always made big shots throughout her career. She's not afraid of taking it. I wish we'd got a little bit better shot, but overall, I'll take the ball in her hands every day of the week," said two-time NBA champion and Liberty coach Bill Laimbeer. He continued with thoughts on the team's play, "I think our defense was solid. We're a pretty sound defensive ballclub. We started to get the rebounds, which helped us. I think overall, we kept their team perimeter in the second half especially, and they didn't make the shots." The 7-10 Liberty, who are second-to-last in the East, will look to continue their streak on Thursday as they face San Antonio.

Minnesota's Monica Wright has been repping her soon-to-be-husband in his latest signature models, but Pondexter chose to throw it back with the Nike Zoom KD IV. With an Adaptive Fit system for an interconnected lockdown fit, a durable Hyperfuse upper, and responsive Zoom Air cushioning, the Nike Zoom KD IV is a great choice for players of all levels and sizes. The KD IV is no longer available from retailers, but you can customize the women's KD VI on NikeiD today for $180.
