Dwight Howard is widely considered the most dominate big man in the NBA, and the numbers don't lie. Over his 10-year career in the league, Dwight has averaged just a shade over 18 points per game, as well as earning three NBA Defensive Player of the Year honors. One stat which really jumps off the page for Dwight is his rebounding, where he's averaging 13 a game over his storied career. With his latest signature on the way, adidas is paying homage to his rebounding prowess with the D Howard 5 "Windex".

We saw the D Howard 5 "Windex" a few weeks back, but it didn't have the story to go along with it just yet. The shoes comes with various blues spread throughout the upper and is complimented by pink laces and lime green hits on the heel logo and forefoot. The colorway was an interesting choice for adidas to first debut, as it typically doesn't fit in with Dwight's line or Rockets team colors, but once the story surfaced it all makes sense, as it was designed to represent a Windex bottle, and even features a small spray bottle inside the tongue.

No official release date is scheduled just yet, but we're assuming Dwight is going to lace these up during his adidas World Tour to round out the summer, and a release date should come shortly after.
