Earlier in the week gave you an initial look at Chris Paul's latest sneakers, the Jordan CP3.VIs. Now we take a moment to dissect the shoe and its performance elements.

Paul's style of play is based around quick cuts and agility, which requires a shoe that won't restrict those traits on the court. The Jordan CP3.VI delivers that and more with a balance of cutting-edge technology designed to cater to Paul's game, and to help it evolve to the next level. The shoes, first worn by the superstar point guard at the London Olympics this past summer, are his lightest (of six) sneakers to date. The kicks feature a breathable upper with minimum weight for a quicker step. Well-placed flex groves on the outsole give it dynamic flexibility during hard cuts to the basket. Jordan Brand has answered the question of cushioning as well by injecting its Podulon technology in the forefoot.

The initial white/blue/red colorway of the sneakers will be available starting September 8th for $150, the same day  Carmelo Anthony's Jordan Melo M8 Advance sneakers drop.
