Last week, Chris Paul was on hand for the official unveiling of the Jordan CP3.VIII, the latest signature for the Clipper's star point-guard. Our good friends at Complex hit up a special event in NYC to try out the shoes first hand and give them a full test run on the court.

Scheduled to drop November 1, the CP3.VIII is the most advanced shoe in Paul's history with Jordan Brand. A little known fact about the shoes themselves are the numerous personal touches CP3 added in. Inside the tongue is a full Paul family tree, the outsole has an enlarged "V" to represent Chris' time working for Chevron, as well as many other personal nods that you really have to see in person to appreciate. From a technical stand-point, the CP3.VIII was designed for the versatile player, with speed and agility, much like Paul himself. A major standout is the TPU chassis which provides superior stability, and allows for quick, lateral cuts.

Check out the video above, and be sure to grab a pair of the Jordan CP3.VIII when they hit retail November 1, for $130.
