Since its release, the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 has been popular with athletes across the board, including Roger Federer and MMA standout Jon "Bones" Jones. Today brings a look at an exclusive makeup of the Chinese finger trap-inspired trainer, but this time around it's in the form of a tribute to an NFL Hall of Famer.

Former NFL wide receiver Cris Carter recently showed off this exclusive rendition of the Free Trainer 5.0, which commemorates his 2013 HoF induction and career achievements. While the upper of the trainer is relatively tame, boasting a Vikings-appropriate white, black, and purple color scheme, it's the bold graphics on the insole that really make this style special.

The left insole contains a rundown of some of Carter's biggest achievements at Ohio State and in the NFL with Minnesota, while the right footbed gets straight to the point with a "All I Do is Catch Touchdowns" graphic. With the fourth-highest TD receptions of all time at 130, it's certainly hard to argue with that.

Check out the gallery above for a closer look at the Cris Carter Nike Free Trainer 5.0. Unfortunately, this commemorative style likely won't hit retailers, but you can head over to Nike iD and whip up something close for $135.
