Dirk Nowitzki Keeps the Knicks in Their Misery While in the Nike Hyperdunk 2012

After a quiet night in New York, Dirk Nowitzki finally erupted late to pull his Dallas Mavericks to a close 110-108 victory over the New York Knicks in a PE of the Nike Hyperdunk 2012. Nowitzki shot just 6-for-13 and scored 15 points with the most important bucket coming at the end of the game.

With the game knotted at 108, Dirk found himself at the top of the free-throw line with Carmelo Anthony guarding him. Somehow, he found a way to get up a contested shot and the ball had a lucky bounce off the glass and hitting the edge of the rim that eventually came down through the net. Nowitzki actually had not scored in the previous 18 minutes before this game-winning bucket.

Great to see Dirk getting some love, after quite an anonimous year.

The Knicks are shocking, Dolan keeps making the same mistake, over, and over, he basically just spend the last 2 years making Melo the new Starbury, and unfortunately Melo isn’t the Basketball-IQ genius to prevent the dysfunction that comes with building such an unbalanced team.
