With its uncommon choice of materials, super sleek design, and lightning quick speed, the Under Armour Speedform was one of the most buzzed about running models yet. Inspired by the materials used on UA's performance bras, the Speedform's upper was designed to be form-fitting and breathable. Now, the model has been revamped for the new and improved Under Armour Speedform Apollo.

While not much has changed as far as the tech goes, the major change with the Speedform Apollo is that it removes the individual toe pieces, resulting in an even sleeker overall feel and look. Down low, the same responsive Micro G cushioning high abrasion rubber outsole with natural flex grooves are carried over from its predecessor, delivering high performance without packing on weight. You'll also find the same seamless molded heel cup with silicone grip, which keeps the foot in place while retaining the sleek, form-fitting feel. Meanwhile, ultrasonic welding and Bemis tape allow the upper to wrap the foot in a supportive, skin-like layer.

Of course, the real star of the Under Armour Speedform Apollo is its upper. Crafted in UA's clothing factories, the Speedform Apollo's upper takes a cue from performance sports bras, repurposing their the soft and snug properties to deliver a first-of-a-kind runner that is suitable for men and women alike. With plenty of perforations, the Under Armour Speedform Apollo is a great choice as a spring or summer running shoe. In the gallery above, you'll find both men's and women's styles for the Speedform Apollo, which is available now.
