Shoes designed specifically for weightlifting as fairly hard to come by in this day and age, but adidas has continued to revamp its footwear offerings for athletes looking to bulk up, and the Powerlift 2.0 is a perfect example. Forget all the bells and whistles, the most important thing in a weightlifting shoe is stability. Fortunately, adidas took that into consideration and gave the Powerlift 2.0 a wide, solid weight-distribution plate paired with a high-density EVA midsole. In addition, adidas has added a single instep strap over the laces for support and rearfoot integrity. Up top, the Powerlift 2.0 features a mesh and synthetic leather upper for support and durability. Inside, a textile lining offers an additional touch of comfort during high-intensity workouts.
