The Asics Gel-Noosa Tri series isn’t just one of the most visually loud running shoes of all-time, but it is also one of the most performance-driven runners on the market. Designed for the elitest of elite athletes, the Gel-Noosa Tri 8 is a do-it-all trainer that is most often used for triathlons, but also caters to general running needs.

The Tri 8 is nearly an ounce lighter than the previous model, yet is more comfortable and supportive than ever. It features a perforated sockliner and open mesh upper for optimized temperature control, and has an easy-on, easy-off design that makes for a smooth transition when switching from bike to run in a triathlon. Under the hood, you’ll find the usual Asics tech lineup, which includes the Proulsion Trusstic system for quicker, more efficient toe-off, Impact Guidance for gait efficiency, and a DuoMax Support midsole unit for enhanced support underfoot. The Tri 8 has a Wet Grip outsole made from a special blend of organic and non-organic material that offer exceptional grip regardless of weather conditions. Along with its extraordinary color scheme, the shoe is laden with glow-in-the-dark features for additional visual effects, as well as a safety precaution for runners who like to hit the road at night.
