If you’re in need of some extra inspiration to get you off of that couch and in a pair of running shoes, listen up. On Sunday, Fauja Singh, the World’s oldest marathoner ran the final 10k of his illustrious running career.

Clad in his trademark saffron turban, the 101-year-old Sikh marathoner, rightfully nicknamed the Turbaned Torpedo, ran the Hong Kong marathon’s 10k race with a time of 1:32:28—not to shabby for a centenarian. As he’s done throughout much of his memorable running career, Singh ran the race in a pair of adidas running sneakers, the 2011 version of the adiZero f50s to be exact. Since appearing in an adidas ad back in 2004, Singh has made it clear that the Three Stripes is in fact his go-to choice for running footwear.

Fauja, whose name literally translates to army general, has been an inspiration to Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike over the last couple of decades. Since taking up running at the age of 89, Singh has only gotten faster with each passing year. In at the 2011 Toronto marathon, he became the oldest man to run a full marathon, though the incredible feat not recognized by the Guiness World Records because Singh doesn’t have a birth certificate to confirm his age.

Singh may have officially retired as a runner, but we don’t expect him to give up his love for the sport completely. Here’s to another 101 years for the legendary Fauja Singh.
