Since 2006, skateboarding brand Supra has made waves in the sneaker world with its style-infused performance models. Signature shoes for pro skaters like Erik Ellington, Stevie Williams, and Chad Muska, whose Skytop line has been the brand's flagship, helped paved the way for Supra's groundbreaking approach.

Now, the model that started it is back for its fourth edition in the form of the Supra Skytop IV. While it's still too early to determine what technologies are involved in this high-top model, it's sure to offer high durability and comfort if previous versions are any indication. From the photo provided, the Supra Skytop IV is loaded with thick padding that wraps around the ankle and heel, along with even more padding on the sockliner. A thick, ribbed midsole is utilized on top of a cupped outsole, and the remainder of the upper appears to be a leather and synthetic base.

Of course, the real question here is how do they perform? Be sure to check back with Sneaker Report for more on the upcoming Supra Skytop IV, including release information and tech details.
