Now that Kevin Durant has kicked off the 2012-13 NBA season in the KD5, Nike has prepared a take-down model for Duran't signature line. Much like the Lebron Soldier and Ambassador models, the Nike KD Trey 5 will offer pro-level performance at a budget price.
Although it's hard to say exactly what tech has been put to use in the model, the upper appears to be constructed of Hyperfuse, with CP3.VI-like mesh cutouts for ventilation. It also seems that Zoom Air will be used to some degree in the cushioning setup. Finally, the KD Trey 5 features a large heel cup, which is translucent on some of the colorways pictured.
