Given that the Mizuno Wave Elixir 7 was a big hit amongst Sneaker Report testers, it’s only natural that the announcement of the next edition in the popular running series, the Wave Elixir 8, is getting everyone excited.
While most major aspects of the high-performing running sneaker stay unchanged, Mizuno has given the shoe a redesigned upper that replaces unnecessary overlays with a more uniform design that allows for a more seamless fit. As far as aesthetics go, we’re somewhat sad to see the tiger stripes replaced with a 70s dance-floor style checkered pattern.
The latest innovation from Mizuno is set to drop in January 2013 for $120. Keep it locked in to Sneaker Report for a performance review on the Wave Elixir 8.
