The third generation soccer cleat from Under Armour, the Spine Blur Carbon III, is set to make the American-based brand a serious contender in the international sport that is fútbol.

The Spine Blur Carbon III uses carbon fiber in the outsole, as well as the lateral side of the boot—a feature that is designed to eliminate foot roll. The boot has been stripped down to a lighter weight than the Blur II, making it UA’s first real speed-friendly option for soccer. The Carbon III’s upper is made from a microfiberELITE material that offers impressive flexibility and a solid overall feel. The boot uses a 4D Foam footbed for comfort and shock absorption, while its Micro G technology covers the responsiveness category. As far as the design is concerned, UA definitely was looking to make a bold statement with the vibrant orange and reflective silver panels on the upper.

While the release date for the UA Spine Blur Carbon III isn’t quite clear yet, the boot should go for around $200.
