Zoot has big things in store for runners in 2013. A first for running shoes, the brand will introduce the BOA lacing system in the Ultra Race 4.0 minimal sneaker. Usually found in cycling footwear, the BOA system uses adjustable wires running along the midfoot that hold the foot firmly in place. The shoe features an updated pattern on the outsole for better grip. the Ultra Race 4.0 is made for quick transitions during races, particularly triathlons. Expect the sneakers to drop in February 2013 for around $180.
