It pays to be the champs.

With the college football season looming, Nike is hooking up the reigning champions with a special pair of the Air Diamond Turf II, done in the Seminoles flare. The shoe's not only pay homage to the school, but also pay tribute to Deion Sanders, who became an All-American at FSU twenty-six years ago, and had the Air Diamond Turf II as his own signature trainer.

The shoe comes features FSU's traditional red and gold color scheme, and is outfitted with multiple tributes to the school including the FSU logo printed across the foot strap, and the iconic Seminoles logo on the tongue. Other FSU mantras include a special printed inner lining, and a tomahawk located on the pull-tab. The Seminoles have their work cut out for them as they try to repeat as NCAA football champions, as it's only been done eight previous times in history.

The Air Diamond Turf 2 "FSU" will be available starting August 28 at the Nike Store for $130.
