KD's effortless scoring from anywhere on the floor has earned him several nicknames throughout his tenure in the league. Durantula, Slim Reaper, and one of his personal favorites, the Easy Money Sniper. With the launch of the KD VII's, it's no surprise Nike drew inspiration from his nicknames, and today we get an upclose look at possibly the best colorway the Swoosh has in store thus far.
Inspired by his nickname and the $100 USD bill, the "Easy Money" KD VII is as smooth as his jumper. Coming in a mystic green with orange accents hitting through the light brown base, and finished off with a gum outsole, these jumped right towards the top of the best KD VII's Nike has in store. Other personal touches on this model include a silhouette of Durant's home state of Maryland on the outsole, and the forefoot strap features the names of his mother Wanda, his grandmother Barbara, his father Wayne and his brother Tony. This marks the final colorway of the five Nike originally previewed following the initial launch, and in our opinion it's going to fly off shelves so make sure you act accordingly.
The KD VII "Easy Money" is set to drop on the Nike Store and select retailers September 10.
