A few weeks back, we got our first look at the Kobe 9 Mid EXT, marking yet another extension of the Black Mamba's signature line from Nike. While much of the news surrounding Kobe's is focused on the low-top and EM versions, new pictures surfaced today giving us a better look at the upcoming mid-cut option.
The first colorway that's surfaced comes in an all black leather upper, that looks like simulated python skin with the pattern used. The mid-cut option features the same perforations as the low-top and EM model, but extends it throughout the whole upper to make the shoe even more breathable. To finish off the look, Nike used a silver heel counter, and set the shoe atop the ever popular gum-outsole. While the exact details of the Kobe 9 Mid EXT have yet to surface, from the preliminary photos, it looks it can stand up on both indoor and outdoor courts.
The Kobe 9 Mid EXT will be available beginning August 23 on the Nike Store, for a suggested retail price of $225.
