Coming off the heels of debuting the Air Max 2015, Nike is looking to continue their reign over summer runners by offering up the first look at the Air Max Tailwind 7.

Much like the Air Max Tailwind 6, this year's model still utilizes a distinct sole that incorporates Air Max units within the Cushlon foam outsole for a highly cushioned crash pad, and offers a smooth transition from heel to toe. The Air Max Tailwind 7 upper is comprised of a lightweight engineered mesh that improves on previous designs by cutting weight, and making the sneaker highly breathable. Nike also included Hyperfuse taping to further decrease weight through a non-sew overlay that also increases stability within the shoe.

No official release date has been set, but expect the Nike Air Max Tailwind 7 to hit retail in the next coming months.
