There's been a large influx of training shoes recently as brands look to outfit you with the highest performance footwear to tackle summer workouts. Today we get a first look at the updated Nike Lunar TR1 set to hit shelves in the coming weeks.

Originally lauched back in 2010, the Nike Lunar TR1 became a popular trainer for athletes, amateurs and pros alike. Now it's back with an updated look and tech features to help you train faster and more efficiently. The lightweight Lunar TR1 features a breathable mesh construction for the upper overlaid with a no-sew Hyperfuse styled skin. Nike incorporated Flywire eyelets designed to lock the foot down for a secure and adaptive fit. Nike finished the look by placing it atop a full-length Lunarlon outsole for increased cushioning and responsiveness. There's currently only two colorways to start, but based on the overwhelming popularity of the Lunar TR1 in the past, more are certain to be on their way.

The Nike Lunar TR1 is set to release July 1 at Nike Store and all global retailers for a suggested retail of $110.
