As we approach the end of 2014, Nike's already got plenty in store to kick off the new year including the Air Max 2015, which is set to hit shelves this week. That's not the only runner Nike fanatics have to look forward to as we just got our first look at the 2015 edition of the Nike Free 5.0.

The Free 5.0 was one of Nike's most successful shoes in their running fleet last year, so it's no surprise the Swoosh is back with an updated model. Nike kept some of the same design cues including the honeycomb-shaped Free sole, but also made some much needed technical updates as well. To enhance performance, the 2015 Free 5.0 features a mesh sealed with no-sew Hyperfuse, which increases breathability and while maintaining stability. Earlier today, we saw Nike bid farewell to 2014 with the "Celebration" Pack, but if this is any indication of what's in store for next year, 2015 could be another great year for Nike's running category.

Check out the first 6 colorways Nike's got lined up, and stay tuned for an official release date. Chances are the 2015 Free 5.0 will launch in the next couple of weeks.
